Warranty Policy


CYCROWN  highly recommends that all customers have their bikes examined and tested by a certified bicycle mechanic before the first ride. A full inspection of each component on the bike will help ensure that the bicycle is safe to ride. Bikes that have been shipped may arrive with parts bent or out of adjustment. CYCROWN makes no guarantees that the brakes, shifters, motor, stem, rims, spokes, derailleur, fork, or any other component on the bike will be properly secured and adjusted upon arrival. CYCROWN takes no responsibility for product or incidental damage caused by loose or out of adjustment parts.


Assembly by customer is at their own risk and CYCROWN cannot be liable for improper assembly causing damage to the bike or its components. Any damage caused by improper assembly will not be covered by CYCROWN. Parts and/ or repair cost resulting from improper assembly will be incurred by customer - not CYCROWN.



Two (2) Year Limited Warranty

Only the original owner of an ebike purchased from Cycrown's online (cycrown.com) or physical storefront is covered by this Limited Warranty.

To receive warranty benefits, you must have your receipt as proof of purchase and verify the name & address and all other information submitted to make the purchase.


The Warranty Period begins upon your receipt of the ebike and shall end immediately upon the earlier of the end of the Warranty Period or any sale or transfer of the ebike to another person, and under no circumstances shall the Limited Warranty apply to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the ebike.


CYCROWN warrants that the unit shall be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase when it is used under normal conditions and maintained according to the requirements outlined in the Owner’s Guide.



What is covered by this warranty?

(This Limited Warranty is only applicable to United States ebike purchases (purchases in Canada and the European Union shall be subject to their respective warranty terms) and in accordance with the following terms:)


  1. The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective, at CYCROWN’s sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced up to two (2) years from the original purchase date.


  1. In the event a replacement unit is issued, the warranty coverage will end six (6) months following the date of the replacement unit or until the end of the existing warranty, depending on which is the latter. CYCROWN reserves the right to replace the unit with one of equal or greater value.


  1. Batteries and motors: defective batteries and motors will be repaired or replaced for free to the customer. Only CYCROWN can directly evaluate defective batteries and motors. (In addition, for batteries, this warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by the following acts or circumstances.)
  •  using an unsuitable charger to charge the battery.
  •  if any seal on the battery is damaged or shows signs of tampering.
  •  if the battery has been used in a device other than the designated bicycle.



What is not covered by this warranty?


  1. Normal wear and tear of wearable parts (including without limitation tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, housing, grips, chain, and spokes), which require regular maintenance are all subject to intended use-related wear and are not covered under the warranty from normal wear. Replacement parts are available for purchase at cycrown.com.


  1. Any unit that has been tampered with or used for unintended purposes.


  1. Any damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the ebike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the ebike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.


  1. Any products sold by Cycrown that is not an ebike.


  1. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance (e.g., failure to keep the well of the motor or battery clear of liquids and other debris), or damage due to mishandling.


  1. Consequential and incidental damages or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, force majeure, misuse, neglect, and abuse.


  1. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty. CYCROWN Ebikes have an IPX4 water resistance rating. IPX4 is standard that indicates your bike is resistant to water splashes only. It is not waterproof.


  1. Damage due to improper tools or inadequate maintenance performed on the bike not authorized by CYCROWN


  1. Damage resulting from adding non-standard equipment, parts, or technical modifications.


  1. These defects include damages caused in the process of shipping, altering, or repairing the product.


  1. Products purchased, used, or operated outside of North America.


  1. Shipping Damage

Damage to a Covered Component during shipping is not covered by this Limited Warranty, but CYCROWN will replace such damaged Covered Components if you:

Notify CYCROWN of a Covered Component damaged in the shipping process within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the ebike;

Provide CYCROWN with a dated picture of the damaged Covered Component;

Return all original packaging and paperwork included with the ebike; and

Note any immediately recognizable damage on the shipper’s Bill of Lading prior to signing off on the shipment.

Shipping damage claims are very time-sensitive and it is your responsibility to immediately inspect the ebike for damage upon receipt.

If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as use of a freight forwarder or other similar service, CYCROWN will not replace any Covered Components damaged during such shipping method.

  1. Credit Card Chargebacks

If any ebike purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback in any amount, and you are still in possession of the ebike, then this Limited Warranty shall be invalidated until the credit card chargeback has been resolved.



How to get service?



In order to exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you must:


  • Contact the Cycrown CS team through support@cycrown.com. The Technical Support team will initially work with you on the problem with your ebike to identify potential simple fixes.
  • If the CS team determines that a Covered Component must be replaced, they will provide you with a set of instructions for returning the defective Covered Component and receiving the replacement.
  • After you receive the replacement Covered Component, the CS team will also assist in determining how to replace or install the new Covered Component into your ebike.
  • CYCROWN will cover the cost of shipping for all replacement parts under warranty.



Thirty (30) Day Accessory Warranty

Thirty (30) Day Accessory Warranty applies to accessories that CYCROWN deems due to factory defect. Misuse or damage due to accidents are not covered.



About state laws

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
