Warranty Policy
This Warranty is provided by CYCROWN to the original purchaser of a CYCROWN ebike. It provides specific legal rights and protections while ensuring the safety and performance of our products.
1. WARRANTY PERIOD & ELIGIBILITY
Original Owner Only: This Limited Warranty applies only to the original owner of an ebike purchased from cycrown.com or authorized retailers. It is non-transferable and ends immediately upon the sale or transfer of the bike.
Coverage Start: The warranty period begins upon the date of delivery.
Proof of Purchase: To receive warranty benefits, you must provide the original receipt and verify the name, address, and order information used at the time of purchase.
2. DUAL-LAYER COVERAGE STRUCTURE
A. Two (2) Year Limited Warranty (Core Components)
CYCROWN warrants that the following "Covered Components" shall be free from manufacturing defects for 24 months:
- Frame & Rigid Fork: Structural integrity against cracks or weld failures
B. 6-Month Free Replacement + 6–12 Month Limited Support
First 6 Months – Free Parts + Free Shipping
For the first six (6) months of ownership, CYCROWN provides free replacement parts and free shipping for the following items:
- Accessories: Fenders, rear racks, kickstands, and integrated lighting
- Mechanical Parts: Suspension forks (mechanical failure), brake levers, and hardware
- Motor & Controller: Internal mechanical or electrical failure under normal use
- Electrical System: LCD Display, wiring harness, sensors, and throttle
- Battery: Covered for manufacturing defects for 6 months or 100 charge cycles (whichever occurs first)
- Charger: Covered for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for six (6) months from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper storage, incorrect input voltage, power surges, liquid intrusion, physical damage, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or use with non-approved products. Replacement requests may require photo or video verification and additional troubleshooting assistance from CYCROWN Support.
CYCROWN reserves the right to inspect, troubleshoot, and verify all warranty claims before approving replacement parts or warranty service.
6–12 Months – Free Parts, Customer Pays Shipping
From month 7 to month 12, CYCROWN will continue to provide free replacement parts; however, customers are responsible for all shipping costs.
After 12 Months – Paid Replacement Only
After twelve (12) months from the delivery date, replacement parts are no longer covered under free replacement and must be purchased by the customer.
Note: Normal battery capacity decrease due to age and usage is not considered a defect and is not covered under this warranty. This coverage does not include labor costs for installation or repair performed by third-party shops.
3. SHIPPING DAMAGE & DELIVERY PROTECTION
CYCROWN highly recommends that all customers inspect their ebike immediately upon arrival.
Seel Delivery-Protection: If purchased at checkout, your order may be eligible for protection against loss, theft, or transit damage through Seel. Claims must be filed directly with the Seel Resolution Center within 7 days of delivery and are subject to Seel’s terms and conditions.
Standard Shipping: If Seel protection was declined, shipping damage is not covered by this Limited Warranty. However, CYCROWN may assist in replacing damaged components if notified within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence of the damaged box and product.
For packages marked as “Delivered” but not received, CYCROWN will assist customers in initiating an investigation with the carrier. Resolution of such cases is subject to the carrier’s policies and findings, and CYCROWN does not assume liability for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED (EXCLUSIONS)
This Limited Warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of manufacturing defects. The following are not covered:
- Personal Preference & Subjective Factors: This warranty does not cover dissatisfaction based on personal taste, comfort preference, aesthetic dislike, or the "feel" of the ride.
- Normal Wear & Tear: Tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, and cables
- Unauthorized Alterations: Any modifications to the motor, controller, or frame
- Abuse & Neglect: Damage from accidents, stunt riding, or commercial use
- Environmental Damage: Damage caused by high-pressure washing or saltwater corrosion
5. THE CLAIMS PROCESS
CYCROWN will not replace any component without first reviewing visual evidence of the defect.
- Contact Support: Email vip@cycrown.com with your Order ID and a description of the issue
- Submit Evidence: You must provide high-quality photos or videos
- Troubleshooting: Our team will provide remote assistance. If the part is deemed defective, a replacement will be authorized
Credit Card Chargebacks: If a purchase becomes subject to a credit card chargeback, this Limited Warranty is invalidated until the chargeback is resolved.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
CYCROWN is not responsible for direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty. Repair or replacement of the covered component is the exclusive remedy under this warranty.
