The battery doesn't last for 30 miles as advertised; unsure if bc flaw in battery or false advertisement. Either way, still a lot of fun. Just wiped out, thank goodness I had my helmet on!
Setting up the bike was very easy to set up. My first ride on this bike was pretty good but I noticed a couple things that I did not really appreciate and that was, no.1 the suspension is almost non existent even over small bumps it would rattle me like crazy no.2 it is very heavy and big. No.3 the battery only lasted 20 miles wich I don’t know if that’s just because i was on gear 5 the whole time or what but they said that it would get lot more miles then that. And no.4 you can not see the screen in the light. But there are some good things about this bike and those things are no.1 it looks very tuff and clean I love the way it looks. No.2 there isn’t any ghost pedaling and you can get it to 28 mph when pedaling. No.3 it is very comfortable and easy to ride.
But if you are looking for your first e-bike I would honestly not get this one your can find some probably better off of Walmart. But overall not a bad bike
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the bike’s comfort, appearance, and performance.
A few of the points you mentioned can vary quite a bit depending on riding conditions and personal preferences. For example, battery range is heavily affected by factors such as rider weight, terrain, wind, tire pressure, and assist level. Riding in PAS 5 continuously will typically result in significantly lower range than the figures achieved under mixed riding conditions.
As for the bike’s size and weight, the CycRun is designed as a full-size moped-style e-bike with a larger frame, higher-capacity battery, and more robust components. While that may feel larger than some entry-level bikes, it also contributes to stability, durability, and rider comfort.
We also take pride in providing direct customer support, replacement parts availability, and technical assistance whenever our riders need help. That's something many big-box retailers simply can't offer to the same degree. Our goal is not only to sell a bike, but to support riders throughout ownership.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll continue enjoying your CycRun. If there's anything we can help optimize or adjust, our team is always here to help.
Is there a way to get a second spare battery for this bike and how much is the cost?
Thanks for your feedback! 😊
Yes, we do offer additional batteries for purchase. Just search 'battery' on our website and you'll find the available options.
A quick note when choosing:
10.4Ah battery→ Direct replacement battery for your existing setup.
15.6Ah battery→ Additional battery for extended range.
If you choose the 15.6Ah battery, you'll also need the battery mounting base/bracket, as the battery cannot be installed without it.
If you're not sure which option is right for your bike, feel free to reach out to our support team and we'll be happy to help you find the correct setup.
Today I road my bike from my house to a near by national part about 6 miles away and road around a little then back home in all id say I road about 15 miles today it keeps up with other gas moves ove owned handles the bumpy ohio back roads just fine and on city streets it rides real smooth the headlight taillights
and turn signals are pretty dim for day time but at night they are perfect
Really appreciate this update
Sounds like it’s been treating you well over the past month — especially handling those bumpy roads and longer rides.
Thanks as well for the note on the lights, super helpful feedback. Glad you’re enjoying it overall!
I recently got my e-bike, and after 130 miles of use. I absolutely love it! Building it was surprisingly easy, and the overall design feels solid and well-made. The dual batteries give a decent range, but from my experience, if you’re not pedaling at all and stick to maximum power, you’ll only get about 15–20 miles per charge. One thing to note is that the brakes are extremely loud and screechy, which is a bit of a downside and can be annoying during rides. Aside from that, the bike feels sturdy and performs well for what I need. Overall, it’s a great e-bike for the price, but be prepared for limited range without pedaling and some noisy braking.
Appreciate the honest feedback Glad it’s been treating you well overall.
For the 2.0 version, we’ve already fixed the brake issue — it now comes with hydraulic disc brakes, so it’s much quieter and smoother.
Thanks again for sharing and enjoy the bike!
Great Bike beside the brakes but customer service is great they respond real fast and mail any replacement parts I need just send the videos on what’s wrong with it and they view it and they give it there all to figure out what’s the problem I had a accident on my bike and they gave me the site to get my replacement parts I got most of them now then I just drop my bike by having it in cruise control mode so I think I bend the bearings in the front of the bike again customer service 100% sent them the video and they shipped me the parts am waiting to receive them now and hopefully this time I will be more careful and finally enjoy my bike once I get well thanks cycrown and hopefully I can upgrade to the 2.0 version 😍
Appreciate you writing all this out 🙏 Sorry about what happened, hope you’re okay. Glad our team could help you get the parts sorted fast. Be careful when you’re riding again—hope you can just enjoy the bike without any more issues 💪
The Bike looks and rides well. The Customer service was helpful when it came to fixing issues but extremely difficult to help with a return. I was corresponding for days, usually getting only one reply per day, with all these hoops to jump through before they would send me the return information. They had me run tests on mileage, brakes, and battery, confirm with pictures and videos and then do more tests. I just wanted to return the bike. This was so extremely frustrating, especially because the bike was really quite nice
Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the bike itself and that our support team was able to help troubleshoot the issues you experienced. At the same time, we completely understand how frustrating the return process felt from your side.
Because e-bikes involve batteries, brakes, and electrical systems, our team is required to complete a series of diagnostic checks before approving certain returns. These steps are intended to identify whether the issue can be resolved quickly without the inconvenience of sending the bike back. However, we recognize that the process and response times caused unnecessary frustration in your case, and that’s something we’re continuing to improve.
We truly appreciate your patience and your balanced feedback about both the bike and the service experience. Your comments help us improve how we support future riders.
I ordered a CycHunter Pro 2.0, and I am so happy with it. I did the upgrade option (750w/1500w motor) mostly for the hydraulic brakes, but I liked the idea of the NFC screen lock, too. I opted for dual batteries, for the extended range and peace of mind. It was pretty easy to assemble, even without assistance. The only difficult part was waiting for both batteries to fully charge before that first ride. That gave me time to read through all the material included with the bike, and double check the bolts. I only found one loose bolt that was factory installed, though it wasn’t dangerously loose, I still tightened it so it was fully seated. Very impressed with the protective padding on and around the bike while it was in the box. Nothing was damaged or even scratched during shipping.
It was almost dark when I finally got out to ride, which is fine because I wanted to test the lights too. Got everything hooked up and ready to go, and I was off. I went into the settings menu and set the top speed up to 32 mph from the factory default 20 mph, and adjusted the acceleration response from slow to fast. So when I took off in PAS 3, it really took off. Not frighteningly so, but for someone who has never ridden an e-bike and didn’t know what to expect, it was surprising, in a good way. I ended up riding for about 2 hours on my first ride, and covered about 20 miles total. And I loved every single minute of it! This thing is great. The throttle is responsive, and sensitive enough to allow you to go slower than the speed for that setting, which is nice when taking off from a complete stop.
Overall I couldn’t be happier with my first e-bike. It was a bit pricier than I initially wanted to spend, but what I got for the money I spent is tremendous. The value exceeds the cost, hands down. I will be able to do most of my commuting and getting around on this bike, which is going to save so much on gas, which will in turn help the bike pay for itself. Thank you, CyCrown, for making such a beginner friendly, trail capable e-bike, and for offering it at such an affordable price!
Really appreciate you sharing this—glad to hear the Pro 2.0 is treating you well.
That’s actually exactly why we developed the 2.0 version in the first place. We wanted to fix some of the limitations from earlier models and focus on what riders actually feel in daily use—better braking control, smoother power delivery, smarter features like NFC, and longer real-world range with options like dual batteries.
At the same time, we didn’t want it to become something overpriced or overcomplicated. The goal has always been to keep it practical and affordable, while still giving riders a noticeably better experience where it matters.
So it’s really good to hear that came through in your ride. Thanks again for the support—and ride safe out there
I'm going to write this review, hoping that the stars will go up. I was so pumped to get this e-bike. I ordered the CycHunter 2.0 with the upgrade for motor, but standard battery. The bike arrived just this past Sunday, May 3rd. I spent two hours putting it together only to find issue 1: One of the screws that mounts the handlebar to the frame does not tighten. See picture 1. Not terrible, I emailed the issue over. But then, I took it for a test spin one time around the block, and I noticed issue 2: They sent me the wrong bike. The bike does not go above 20 mph, and I look at the stickers and sure enough, 20 mph limit. The upgraded bike that I ordered should go up to 32 mph. Now, even if that includes some funny pedal-assist math, it should at least hit 28. This is a problem because the whole reason I got the bike was to stay with flow of 25mph traffic on throttle. Also I live south of Pittsburgh which has many hills--not easy biking. Okay, so they're closed Sundays but open Monday. This is a big enough deal for me to call the [****] customer "service" number. So I waited 44 minutes and got dumped from the line. I called back and waited 7 minutes and got dumped again. I called back and gave up after 20 minutes. Why is there nothing as simple as, "Schedule a call back." So now, I have a handle-bar using 3 of 4 screws, which I'm not a safety-freak, but seems not ideal. I have a bike I didn't order. And I have no one picking up the phone. And I'm out over a thousand dollars including the helmet, carrier bag and cell phone mount I also ordered. Did I mention I was excited to have an e-bike. Well, now I'm just massively frustrated. Thanks cycrown. I'm hoping someone sees this and does something. It's order # 5879.

Made a mistake and ordered the wrong wheel for my cycfree and they did their best and sent me the correct wheel in no time thank you

We appreciate your patience, and we’re happy everything got resolved smoothly for you. If you ever need anything else, feel free to reach out anytime. Thanks again for your support!
Purchased New on Amazon, it arrived in good condition, thats half the worrie for me.
I got the bike for a steal 599.00 plus delivery and tax i was around 700 with that B.S. the bike has held up beyond my expectations, it is a well built frame with good components, the breaks are disk and are adequate but hydraulic would be much better, again its a cost effective bike. I drive it daily I average 10 mi a day on many different terrain changes. Rain Snow or shine im riding, for the price I got it for and the construction of it, its definitely a great purchase, I believe its a 750w motor with a basic 36v 10 ah battery with a 280 wah not a powerful battery but its a sold well built battery I can get 10 mi even on a charge with limited pedaling and nothing overwhelming, its a real comfortable fit. Im 5'9 and weigh 180 and it pulles me up hills nicely, I have 1480 mi and its 10 months old, it held up against everything a Pittsburgh winter could throw, 8" of snow it had its moments of struggle but I made it to where I had to be, lighting is good but basic I added an additional bar light and rear reds. Id like to own a hunter version with the 1500w 48v set up.
I recently purchased a new Amyet S8S 1500w 48v 20ah 980 wah great set up motor battery and controller and monitor, the frame stinks my knees almost touch my chin when peddling, and im 5" 10 its not as smooth as the CyRun
I should have went with my gut and spent a few houndered more and purchase A CYCROWN, all there bikes are thought out and stand out...
I hope to own another soon dont make the same mistake I did, Great Product and Brand.
Almost a year old at 1500 mi not 1 issue changed my brakepads 2x and new tires are going on today... and the battery has held up great for a 36v battery. It works hard.
Hope this helps
stay rolling
Stay safe.
Really appreciate you taking the time to share all this — this is the kind of real riding experience that means a lot to us.
Sounds like you’ve truly put the bike through everything — daily commuting, rough terrain, even winter conditions — and it’s great to hear it’s been holding up strong.
You’re absolutely right about the brakes. On this model they’re mechanical disc brakes, and for riders looking for stronger stopping power, our Hunter 2.0 comes upgraded with hydraulic brakes.
Also love that you pointed out the frame and ride feel — that’s something we care a lot about when designing our bikes.
Whenever you’re ready for your next upgrade, we’ve got you covered. Stay safe and keep riding.
The bike was well packaged and it is very enjoyable to ride! It gets many compliments and even some motorcyclists acknowledgements.
Love hearing this, thank you so much! 🙌
We’re really glad the bike arrived safely and that you’re enjoying the ride. Getting compliments (especially from motorcyclists ) is always a great sign—you’ve got something special.
Ride safe and enjoy every mile!
My girlfriend and I finally treated ourselves to a pair of Nomad Pros, and they've totally changed our weekend routine. I went with the Graphite Grey for that understated, stealthy look, while she's obsessed with the Alpine Green. The matte finish is even better in person.
We grabbed coffee this morning, and being able to just tap the NFC card to unlock and go is such a slick feature. The Torque Sensor is the real star, though; the power delivery is so smooth that it doesn't feel like a heavy e-bike, just a very fast version of a regular one.
We felt totally fine leaving them out front because of the Apple Find My integration. It's honestly a relief to have that extra layer of security built right into the frame. These bikes are absolute units, but they handle like a dream.
Really appreciate you sharing this!
This is exactly the kind of everyday use we had in mind when building the Nomad Pro — simple rides, smooth power, and not overthinking anything.
Also love that you went with Grey + Green — that combo actually comes up a lot in our team too 😄
The NFC + torque sensor + tracking setup was all about making the ride feel easy and giving that extra peace of mind when you step away from the bike.
Thanks again for riding with us — always great hearing real experiences like this.
Usually, bike apps are buggy, but the Cycrown one is solid. I love seeing the live telemetry and battery health. It feels like a premium tech product, not just a bicycle.
Feels like a very high-quality machine. From the hydraulic brakes to the frame geometry, everything feels dialed in. The torque sensor really makes it stand out from cheaper bikes I've tested.
Bought in 2025, use for work and hunting. Very good ebike, love to ride it in the night
That’s awesome to hear! Really glad it’s been useful for both work and getting out at night — that’s a pretty perfect combo.
Appreciate you riding with us, hope it keeps bringing you good trips and a lot more fun out there.
I’m 6’7”- fits like a dream. Love everything about it. So far 60 miles in, my only cons- mechanical breaks (get the hydraulic breaks!) and i wish i would have got the dual battery version. I thought i could add it on later but seems you cant. Some joints squeak, but def not a deal breaker. Worth the money!
Thanks a lot for the honest feedback, really appreciate it!
And you’re actually right on the dual battery part.
We do have a dual battery version available, and in most cases we highly recommend going for it if the budget allows, especially for riders who want longer range and less charging worry in the long run. A lot of customers who upgrade later usually say they wish they had chosen it from the start.
For the braking side as well, our newer 2.0 version has already been upgraded to hydraulic disc brakes for stronger and more reliable stopping power based on rider feedback.
Really glad you’re enjoying the ride overall.
That’s awesome to hear!
Chicago is a perfect city for riding — lots of energy, and sounds like the bike is getting plenty of attention out there 😄
Really glad you’re enjoying it. Appreciate you riding with us.
Unfortunately there was a large nail on the road on my way home from school, but cycrowns warranty covers this sort of thing which was amazing to hear as the bike itself is awesome. Once I emailed there support email they only needed my order number and some pictures and that was it they sent me replacement parts and I was on my way amazing customer service much appreciated.
Really glad to hear we could help you out
That kind of situation is exactly what our support team is here for — quick, simple, and getting you back on the road as soon as possible.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this, and even more happy to hear you’re enjoying the bike overall.
I've owned a few ebikes before, but this one stands out. The ride feels stable, powerful, and very confidence-inspiring. I mainly use it for commuting and short trips, and it's been rock solid so far. I like the green color!
Honestly bought this for the looks, but the performance surprised me. Acceleration is smooth and it handles city streets really well. Gets attention everywhere I ride.
After riding this bike for a few weeks, I can say I have no regrets. Solid build, great power for city riding, and the vintage look always gets compliments.
I find myself riding this almost every day now, even when I don't really need to go anywhere. It's just fun and easy to ride.
This feels much closer to a small electric motorcycle than a regular ebike. Power delivery is smooth and riding it around town is just fun.
